“Aggressive ReConnaissance-170” Starfighter is the correct designation for the clone troop spaceships commonly referred to as ARC-170. During the Clone wars the Starfighters were used as fighters for direct combat and as Command ships for missions outside the battlefield. For this reason the ARC-170 are equipped with a hyperspace drive as well as long-range sensor technology in addition to the two strong engines. In close combat the S-wings can be opened for heat dissipation. Armament includes two heavy laser canons that could even penetrate large ship armor, as well as two (lighter) tail canons and proton torpedo launchers. Therefore, the ARC-170 can be used as bombers, too. This concentrated power is controlled by a crew of three. Two pilots are located in the two front cockpits and in addition there is a tail gunner. An astromech droid supports the Crew on their missions.

This model comes with interior and mechanics for unfolding the wings. The model was originally designed in 2012 by thire5 (Martin Latta) and was now reissued in close cooperation with him. The modifications include updates of old parts to achieve a price reduction and minor optical changes. The instructions have also been completely reissued.
