On the command bridge of an Imperial Star destroyer, many important decisions are made. Which flight path to take? Where is Han Solo’s Falcon hiding? Which bounty hunters can be recruited to hunt Han Solo? Who is lacking the necessary respect for Darth Vader?
Architecturally, such a bridge offers several interesting details: the iconic front windshield that allows a view of the planet below, the typical style of the walls with the white light elements, and the two ‘pits’ for the navigators.
The command bridge is part of the minifig-scale Star Destroyer by Eighth Fleet Project. This incredible project is aimed to create a minifig scale (1:42) LEGO Star Destroyer. Once it is built, the model will be larger than 40 meters. As the command bridge is part of this model, it also shares the minifig scale. As the command bridge features various computer parts, a matching sticker set will be included to reduce the cost of parts.
