The shuttles of the Upsilon-class served the high-level First Order commanders as cruise and command ships. Modeled after the Empire’s old Lambda-class shuttles, the wings can be opened and closed. Kylo Ren used a Upsilon-Shuttle to chase Luke Skywalker and he supervised the attack of the AT-M6 on the resistance camp during the battle of Crait.

The model was designed by Pete “Cavegod” Brookdale and relaunched by The Brick-Collective in coordination with Cavegod. The external modifications include a new front, updated parts and generally small improvements. The interior of the model was completely redesigned. In addition to the improvements in buildability and stability (especially in the wings), a mechanism for moving the wings and for for lowering the floor hatch was built in. The movement of the wings and the lowering of the floor hatch can be done using an engine (for their control we installed a SBrick: Link) or manually via an additional attachement. Since much force is needed to move the wings we explicitly recommend removing the tips of the wings before moving them in order to protect the model and motors from damage. For manually moving the wings you can find further short instructions at the end of the general instructions after the parts list. The additional parts are listed in a separate parts list.
