As a small and light transporter, the Imperial Troop Transport K79-S80 could transport up until 10 storm troops. It was used mainly in cities with narrow alleys and it was was accompanied by two pilots and one officer. The storm troops could wait in the outer pulpits in order to be ready for deployment as quick as possible. Although it was only constructed as a light troop transport, its armament was quite impressive and the troop transport was equipped with two front laser cannons as well as an additional 360° turret.
